How CloudTwyst Ltd collects, uses, and protects personal data.

CloudTwyst Ltd (“CloudTwyst”, “we”) is a company registered in Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is a starter policy and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

2. What we collect

  • Contact data — name, email, company, and message content you submit through our contact form.
  • Usage data — limited, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used.
  • Assessment data — where you engage CloudTwyst Security Assess, cloud posture data is processed under a separate data processing agreement and purged after sign-off.

3. Why we process it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide requested services (contract / legitimate interest).
  • To operate and improve the website (legitimate interest).
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Data residency & retention

Personal data is hosted within the EU. We retain contact data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, and assessment data is purged after engagement sign-off, leaving only a tamper-evident audit stub.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email hello@cloudtwyst.ie. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
